Emerald Beach Resort, Altona

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms had balconies with ocean views, they needed some upgrades, and the bathroom required repairs. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond in their service, although the location, while right on the beach, was next to the airport and needed an upgrade. The dining experience was a highlight, with friendly staff and complimentary options. Overall, it was a solid stay with some room for improvement.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The rooms were pretty and nicely appointed, offering a spectacular view of the beach. They were quiet, spacious, although a fresh coat of paint wouldn't hurt. The service was top-notch, very pleasant, and accommodating. The staff kept the beach clean and provided plenty of chairs for relaxation. The location was perfect in the USVI, well-kept, and stunning. The dining experience was great, with friendly staff and delicious meals albeit with slightly high prices for breakfast offerings. The facilities were excellent, offering everything from grocery shopping service to laundry assistance.

Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel was mixed. On the upside, the property is conveniently located near the airport and laid out nicely. The service was accommodating, especially at the beach bar. However, the rooms were not as expected from the website photos, with issues like filthy ceilings and stained towels. The shuttle service was quite expensive for a short ride.
